Our Therapists

All our therapists are fully qualified General Sports Rehabilitators (GSR) under the British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT), and are Accredited by the Professional Standards Agency. They strive to give you the best care and treatment as possible.

Sean Devlin BSC (hons) Sports Rehabilitation, GSR BASRaT

Sean is the owner of Impact Sports Rehabilitation and graduated from the University of Bolton in 2008 with a degree in Sports Rehabilitation. He has worked as a rehabilitator for a number of football teams and has spent time on placement at Bolton Wanders FC.

Sean is the owner and lead Sports Injury & Massage Therapist for Valour Jiujitsu Manchester and Ace conditioning. He has a wide range of experience in many areas, particularly activity-related injuries sustained through Football, Rugby, and Martial Arts.

​

Sean also lectures in Sports Rehabilitation at the University of Greater Manchester

Cara Loates Bsc (Hons) Sports Rehabilitation, GSR BASRaT

Cara graduated from the University of Greater Manchester in 2025 with a degree in Sports Rehabilitation, She is currently working for Bolton Wanderers Women's FC as head of medical at the club.

​

Cara has had lots of previous experience in the university clinics and with a number of other sports teams, from Tennis to Rugby.

​

Cara's sporting background is in snow sports where she has had the privilege of representing Great Britain internationally for the past 3 years. she is also an avid Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor.

Nathan Warner Bsc (Hons) Sports Rehabilitation, GSR BASRaT

Nathan graduated from the University of Greater Manchester in 2025 with a degree in Sports Rehabilitation. 

​

Over the past few years Nathan has gained extensive experience through clinical placements and work across several private practices. I also completed a placement with Stockport County during their title winning season, giving him valuable insight into the rehabilitation and performance needs of both general populations and athletes.

 

Outside of work, he is passionate about football, cricket, golf and then gym. He also enjoy heading out for dog walks and picking up the guitar whenever possible
